When Fall finally rolled around I couldn’t wait to decorate my table. I wanted to mix some vintage and natural elements as well as pulling in some of those Fall colors we all know and love. So I am sharing my fall inspired table setting.
I come from a large family and most of my life I spent around the tables of my grandparents for holidays. Since they have passed on, I knew I wanted to continue that tradition and I now host Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve dinner at our home.
I love to design on a budget of course so I wanted to share with you a few ways to not break the budget but still have a festive fall inspired table setting.
Fall Inspired Table Setting
The placemats were purchased at a thrift store locally and cost around $2 for all 4 and the wood box was given to me I stole from my mother. SHHHHH. All the Fabric pumpkins I made and you can find that tutorial here. My silverware was purchased at estate sales and the brown Ironstone I purchased at a local antique mall for a steal! The wine goblets were a wedding gift and all faux foliage was purchased at Joanns Fabrics (with coupons of course).
One of the staples for family entertaining is a good wine. Again, I’m a budget gal so I like a great wine that won’t break the bank. I found just that in Wente Vinyards Wine. As soon as I watched their video on facebook, I fell in love even more. They are talented musicians who also make amazing wine. My kind of people.
Wente Vineyard Morning Fog Chardonnay
My favorite so far is the “Morning Fog” Chardonnay. It was named after the morning fog that rolls into the vineyard every morning. It’s description boasts crisp flavors of green apple, tropical fruit, vanilla and a touch of toasty oak.
If you’d like to browse their selection of great wines, you can do so here and they were kind enough to offer free shipping! Use code JRNYSHIP1 at checkout.
Have you tried this yummy wine? If so, I’d love to hear which is your favorite!
