I have always had a love of antiques and vintage decor finds. It made sense for me to profit from this love and so I opened a small booth at a local antique mall. While working the other day one of the dealers was having a huge sale and I scored this vintage spice cabinet for a steal of a price!
Spice Cabinet Before
It was painted green and while I loved the color, it didn’t quite fit in with my decor.
I had some Fusion Mineral Paint from another project and I loved the color. I painted two coats and let it dry.
Spice Cabinet During
I debated on giving it a distressed look but decided not to because I remembered I had some metal scrapbook numbers I didn’t end up using on the project I had purchased them for.
Metal Scrapbook Numbers
Because we’ve recently moved, so many of my tools and hardware are still missing in boxes. So, I just glued these onto the drawers instead of nailing them.
I plan to hang the spice cabinet either in my kitchen or possibly my office and use it to house my business receipts! This was an inexpensive, quick and easy project and I had so much fun doing it!
